NCAA and NFL Football Back and Better Then Ever

Football fans rejoice, the NFL season kicks off tomorrow night as the defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints take on Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings in a rematch of last years NFC championship. As entertaining as that match up sounds, it is but a prelude to what this weekend has in store for football fanatics. This weekend’s college football lineup is possibly the most anticipated of the year as many high profile programs duel it out. If Mondays Boise State-Virginia Tech game was a preview to things to come, then we are in store for quite the weekend. Boise State jumped out to an early 17-point lead only to see it slip away by halftime. Kellen Moore led the Broncos to a victory with a 4th quarter drive that capped a performance that will surely place him as a perspective Heisman candidate.  With a victory Boise State looks to once again be on their way to a terrific season and probable BCS birth. Games on Saturday with heavy BCS implications will include:

No. 17 Florida State at No. 10 Oklahoma
