First Pitch

We consider First Pitch pitching machines amongst the best values you will find in baseball or softball training equipment. We are proud to provide these high performance First Pitch pitching machines to coaches and athletes across the nation.

First Pitch

A First Pitch pitching machine is a must have for any serious baseball or softball team, allowing a hitter to focus on their hitting mechanics, which is the most important thing when learning to hit. First Pitch pitching machines represent an incredible value and are among our best selling brands, offering the quality and consistency of a high end "professional" pitching machine, but with an entry level price point. We also offer FREE shipping on every First Pitch baseball or softball pitching machine we sell.

First Pitch Pitching Machines have cornered the market when it comes to high-quality yet affordable baseball and softball pitching machines.  The Original, XL, Baseline & Curveball machines all represent an excellent value for players and coaches, Little League teams and softball teams. First Pitch Machines are comparable in quality to machines that cost twice as much... or more.

The First Pitch XL Pitching Machine has fully adjustable legs and angle adjustments. The FirstPitch XL Baseball And Softball Combination Pitching Machine is a heavy duty, versatile machine that can throw up to 80 MPH. The XL throws baseballs (dimple balls and real balls), and 11" or 12" softballs. This hitting machine has legs that pivot within the machine so that only one set of legs is required - the ultimate in convenience for baseball and softball use.

The First Pitch Original Baseball & Softball Pitching Machine is a heavy duty, cost-effective machine that can throw up to 80 MPH. The First Pitch Original pitching machine throws baseballs (dimple balls and real balls), and 11" or 12" softballs. With this machine you get the quality of far more expensive machines at a fantastic price.

Both the First Pitch XL and The First Pitch Original pitching machines have the same motor and controller and for the most part are the same. There are three basic differences. First whereas the original has longer legs for baseball and shorter legs for softball, The XL has legs that pivot within the machine so that only one set of legs is required. Secondly while the original will tip forward for ground balls and back to throw fly balls or high arc pitches, the XL will do all this plus it will tip all the way back to throw pop flies. The Third difference is that the XL has a 360-degree swivel feature.

The FirstPitch Baseline Pitching Machine throws up to 70 MPH. The Baseline features the same high quality construction and versatility of other First Pitch models in a smaller, cheaper, easy-to-transport package. The Baseline offers a full 360-degree swivel, and will tip forward for ground balls and all the way back for pop ups and anywhere in between. The Baseline, just like all the other First Pitch machines, has a Five Year Warranty for residential use or a One Year Warranty for commercial use that includes accidental damage during normal use.

For longevity purposes of the balls as well as for greater accuracy and consistency when using balls, we recommend that you use dimpled balls for your pitching machine. Both the First Pitch and Baseline Machines will throw any kind of baseball or softball. Regular stitched balls work well and the dimple balls are also a good choice. Softer foam balls are good for indoor practice but if they are lighter they may not throw as fast. The important thing to remember is that all the balls should be the same and in similar condition for consistent pitches.
