This system has been tested to withstand up to 40 mph winds when properly filled with water. Sand provides more rigidity, is more suitable if you want your system to withstand higher winds, aggressive play, and leaking. The Quick Adjust^® II handle allows you to easily adjust the height of the backboard from 8 feet to 10 feet using a broomstick or pole. The clear 48" Makrolon^® polycarbonate backboard is virtually shatter proof and UV- protected to resist discoloration and peeling. Steel parts of the system are powder-coated to resist rusting.
